Aiight, so I was very disappointed at the fact that I missed the black Air Yeezy drop. So, I made it a personal mission to obtain the Toro Bravo's and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. No line and a quick pick-up at 9 AM made for an easy cop that allowed me to have a great day. Check out the pics below to bask in the buttery goodness of the "Toro Bravos"!!!

DQM | HUF | KICKS/HI x Vans “3 Feet High” Half Cab

After some initial looks into the latest episode of the Vans “3 Feet High” collection, Sneaker Freaker provides another round of images into the collection.



This time based on the Half Cab, the shoe’s main highlights revolve around the use of materials which include some nice selections such as red snakeskin (HUF), perforated suede and mesh (KICKS/HI) as well as a modified checkered pattern (DQM). A release date has been set for the month of June.

Sense Solo Exhibition Preview

The official launch of Japanese artist Sense and his latest art exhibition SENSEXPERIENCE will take place tomorrow. A preview into his transformation of the Greyone Arsenal basement in Taipei unveils exactly what’s in store for visiting fans and curious customers alike. His abstract illustrations combine different sets of colors as well as monotone stylings.

Victorinox Swiss Army Air Boss Watch

Emerging from the land of heralded watchmakers, examples of the Victorinox Swiss Army Air Boss seen here are inspired by the role of flight-deck bosses on aircraft carriers. Ultimately needing sublime timing and coordination, the Air Boss which debuted in 2003 combines accurate Swiss timing with a simple yet rugged aesthetic.

Two versions seen here include the Limited Edition Mach 6 Power Gauge (Anniversary Edition) and the Mach VI. The Mach 6 Power Gauge will be limited to 333 pieces worldwide.

GROTESK (Bespoke) Air Force Ones

The 2009 Swiss sneaker event Sneakerness took place last week with two well-known Swiss entities including artist GROTESK (now based out of Brooklyn, New York City) and the creative forces over at +41 coming together in the design of a special Bespoke Air Force 1. The two group came up with a design by blending two iconic models, the Air Jordan Sky High and the Air Jordan III. Despite traditional colorway transfers, the final product is well-executed and clean. The lacelocks include dual branding with each side showing +41 and GROTESK.

Jordan 60+

The Jordan Camp continues their hybrid renderings with a new silhouette set to release later in the year. Fusing various past Jordan releases, the 60+ is a representation of Michael Jordan’s 60+ point games in the NBA, all of course while wearing his signature lineup.

This new model features the familiar Laney High School colorway with the aforementioned elements from iconic models. A slew of other colorways could be expected as we’ve already seen the “Grape” color scheme some weeks back. Stay tuned.

FAFI X Adidas Originals

Continuing her collaborative efforts with the Adidas Originals campaign, Parisian artist Fafi will be releasing her third collection this October.



The lineup looks to feature five models, with a preview of the first seen here. Utilizing Adidas Honey Mid’s, the sneakers take obvious inspiration from Fafi’s world travels and upcoming comic book, which should prove to be another worthy endeavor for the artist.

“Spray It, Don’t Say It”

“Claw Money” opened at Eastern District in Williamsburg (or Bushwick, depending on who you ask), offering a DIY Brooklyn feel of its own. An array of (spray) paintings lined the walls, invariably featuring the artist’s signature claw icon in different colors - or perhaps colorways, as the artist has her own fashion line - sometimes with slogans and often with spray paint’s characteristic drips. While a couple of screen prints were refreshingly neat in contrast, the entire exhibition felt true to Claw Money’s graffiti roots and eye for fashion.

Kobe or Lebron???

Since this year's playoffs are in full swing, the debate of the year is "Who is the best player in the NBA???" Is it Kobe Bryant or Lebron James??



Lebron was awarded MVP this year with Kobe coming in 2nd. Kobe got the MVP last year and lead the LA Lakers to the play-off finals where they face Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and the other misc. Boston Celtics players. The Lakers ended up losing the series in game 6 due to what appeared to be Kobe just plain giving up. Well, this year the playoffs are shaping up to be a face-off between the Lakers and the Caviliers. Hopefully the fans wil receive the oppurtunity to see the two best players in the NBA face-off for a worth while series.

Os Gemeos “Vertigem” Exhibition

The art world’s most infamous brotherly duo, Os Gemeos (Portugese for the twins) opened their latest exhibition in their home country of Brazil last month. The Vertigem exhibition and its stunning works is seen here in great detail thanks to Lost Art.







The exhibit is currently taking place at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. Some of the twins’ much covered styles are shown in both 2-D and 3-D mediums with never a lack of color or contrast. The show ends on May 17th, 2009.

Gone Fishing???

All th hipsters are awaiting the debut album When Fish Ride Bicycles, from Chicago's favorite "street" wear influenced rappers The Cool Kids. The Kids' brand of trunk rattling bass beats, sneaker enthusiasm and braggadocio rhyme style has endeared them to a generation of like minded Hypebeasts.

As a prelude, the crew has hooked up with Don Cannon for a 18 original track mixtape titled “Gone Fishing”. This should hold down fans until When Fish Ride Bicycles hits shelves.

Vans X Robert Crumb

Popular low-brow artist R. Crumb and his well-known aesthetic is now at the center of an upcoming collaboration with Vans. R. Crumb’s Mr. Natural character and his iconic beard is set against a clean white deconstructed SK8-HI ($60 USD).

The foxing band features the title “Mr. Natural” as this presents one of a total of four drops. Other releases will include a Fritz the Cat Slip-On ($52 USD) and two Vans Vault releases, the “Modern America” Chukka ($85 USD) and the “Keep on Truckin’” Authentic ($90 USD). Available starting October 1st, 2009.

Off The Yeezy!!!!

I know, I know, I know...I already cried about the Air Yeezy situation but I wanted to spotlight a particular Air Yeezy release. Sneaker boutique Standard lined up an interesting element to their release. With some people camping for upwards of five days, a free breakfast was served, followed by dessert to the lucky few that secured their pairs.

Why can't more stores exhibit such stellar customer service. Big Ups to Standard. Yeah, I'm still tight I didn't get to cop.
