All Work and More Play

Photobucket Photobucket

Following in the footsteps of their mentor and label CEO Pharrell Williams, Malice and Pusha T (The Clipse) bring their Play Clothes to the fashion world. Somewhat in the same vein as BBC, Ice Cream and Bape, Play Clothes features graphic driven tees, hats and jackets for the adult who's still a child at heart. Do yourself a favor. When that whistle blows at your 9-5, go home and change out those work clothes for some Play Clothes. You can get your hands on some HERE.

Q-tip's Renaissance Rap

A Ttribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups of all time. I hope this guy's album is better than the last one he put out.

Supreme x The North Face

Photobucket

The North Face already had a collabo with Supreme a while ago. This first release featured technical jackets and was an interesting and forward thinking venture. This year's collabo with supreme features the oh so lovable North Face Denali Fleece with traditional North Face branding along with Supreme embroidery. A slight step back from the previous release but a North Face x Supreme collabo nonetheless. These jackets are being offered in 3 different colorways. Release information and a MSRP are not available as of yet, so stay tuned.

HBO Season Finales

Last nite I watched season finales for 2 of my HBO favs, (Entourage and True Blood) and both the season finales were dope.

Photobucket

I was super skeptical about True Blood when it first came out. I'm like how is HBO gonna go from The Sopranos and The Wire to some fake ass vampire love story nonsense. I was ready to count True Blood out of the game without as much as a glimpse of what the series had to offer. I should have known better cuz 6 feet under was the jump. By chance I ended up watching the premier episode on a random Wednesday evening and ever since I've been hooked like Jason Stackhouse after his first hit of "V". Well written, thoroughly developed characters and various plot twists are what make this show iller than those other network vampire shows (not to mention the fact that HBO goes no holds barred when it comes to the sex and violence). Def looking forward to what the next season has in store.

Now I've been in love with Entourage since day one. Vince + E + Drama + Turtle and the infamous Ari Gold = Winning Combination. I can't stand watching new episodes on nights other than Sunday or OnDemand. I have to make it a point to be in the house Sunday nights at 10 PM to witness what's good with Vinny Chase and his homies. I'm just tight that I have to wait until August to re-up on a new season of the exploits of the boys from Queens. Thank God they have the past seasons episodes on DVD.

KR x Nike Air Force 1

If you haven't guessed by now one of my loves is sneakers. Been an addict for quite some time now. Another one of my great loves is art. So when I found out legendary New York artist KR (Inventor of KRINK) was collaborating with Nike on a customized version of the Air Force 1 I almost had a seizure.

KR has been putting it down for years with his signature "Drip" tags. The KR AF1’s will feature a graphite grey colorway with a gum out sole and the KRINK trademark drip pattern in a 3M reflective print. The sneakers come with a hand-made KRINK silver marker and will be packaged in a special edition box. The KR Air Force 1 will be available on November 29th at exclusive retailers across the United States.

Air Jordan Hioliday Release CDP XI/XII

Photobucket Photobucket
Photobucket Photobucket

Just in time for the holidays Jordan Brand is issuing the #1 Draft Pick of it's CDP Collective. The XI/XII CDP will probably be the most sought after pack in the CDP series eclipsing the release of the Carmine VI/Stealth XVII and the Shadow X/White & Black XIII CDP releases.

This pack is releasing this Dec. 26 so you can put some of that extra money grandma gave you for the holiday to good use. Cop one for ya self or a loved one.

New York City is the crème de la crème of US major cities. From Staten Island to The Bronx the 5 boroughs consist of a multitude of men, women and children with differing opinions, attitudes, cultures, ethnic backgrounds and ages. I have mad love for all of the boroughs but Manhattan is where it’s at and of all Manhattan’s diverse neighborhoods non-compare to my dear Harlem.

I’ve visited and lived in a number of big cities and have had great times in each one but Harlem will always have my heart. Harlem is number one in every category. She has a rich heritage of artists, activists, entertainers, hustlers and athletes. Get in where you fit in.

Who don't know about The Rucker?
Who don't know about El Haj Malik El Shabazz?
Who don't know about Apollo?

If you’ve never been to NYC skip past all of the typical tourist nonsense (Times Square UGHHH!!!) and take a trip UPTOWN (a lot has changed since the 80’s so don’t be scared to venture across W. 110th street cuz you think you’re gonna become a victim. There’s a Starbucks on 125th for God’s sake).

If you’re a NY native and don’t live uptown do something different and take a field trip to another part of your city. So stop fronting and go grab a bite to eat from Amy Ruth’s.

Hello Cyberspace

I always said that I would never start a blog but I'm rather bored so...why not. Welcome to Oh Mas!!! AKA Mas Dinero's blog spot. Here you can expect to find information on the latest and greatest of everything pertaining to what's "Hip" and "Cool" amongst persons ages 21 - 35...or maybe just some of my opinionated views of America and the world in general. Either way I hope all find this blog to be entertaining and informative. It's all in the name of fun and fighting the good fight against boredom and predictability.

With that said, turn off your computer and go do something more productive until tomorrow.
