Across 110th Street
New York City is the crème de la crème of US major cities. From Staten Island to The Bronx the 5 boroughs consist of a multitude of men, women and children with differing opinions, attitudes, cultures, ethnic backgrounds and ages. I have mad love for all of the boroughs but Manhattan is where it’s at and of all Manhattan’s diverse neighborhoods non-compare to my dear Harlem.
I’ve visited and lived in a number of big cities and have had great times in each one but Harlem will always have my heart. Harlem is number one in every category. She has a rich heritage of artists, activists, entertainers, hustlers and athletes. Get in where you fit in.
Who don't know about The Rucker?
Who don't know about El Haj Malik El Shabazz?
Who don't know about Apollo?
If you’ve never been to NYC skip past all of the typical tourist nonsense (Times Square UGHHH!!!) and take a trip UPTOWN (a lot has changed since the 80’s so don’t be scared to venture across W. 110th street cuz you think you’re gonna become a victim. There’s a Starbucks on 125th for God’s sake).
If you’re a NY native and don’t live uptown do something different and take a field trip to another part of your city. So stop fronting and go grab a bite to eat from Amy Ruth’s.
Harlem We Doing It!!!!!
