HUF Skateboard Legend Series Decks

HUF asked 5 professional skateboard legends, who are also talented artists, to create a Summer Board Series for HUF. The only parameters they gave them was to create black and white artwork, other than that, it was entirely up to the artist. Each board is hand-screened, laser numbered and laser signed. Custom shapes were specified by each skater with each board being limited to 125 pieces (Steve Olsen 100 and Mark Gonzalez 150). Retailing for $60 a piece, all five are now available in limited quantities at HUF San Francisco and LA, along with a commemorative t-shirt.

Live Your Life Off The Wall!!!!

The world lost one of it's dearest and brightest yesterday evening. Michael Joseph Jackson AKA the King of POP died yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 50. I for one was crazy shocked and have been deeply saddened by this news. I couldn't half sleep last night and was up watching CNN along with MJ videos all night. I really can't believe he's gone.

They say death comes in 3's and with the loss of Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett I would have never guessed Michael would be the one to take the 3rd slot. Michael had a major influence and impact on our culture for a span of 30 years. It's important that now we try and celebrate his life and music and remember his legacy.

People...this just goes to show you that you can be here today and hell, not be gone tomorrow but be gone today!!! Live your life to the fullest with no regrets. Do not put off what you can do today for tomorrow if it's important!!! You may never get the chance to make it happen!! Why work all the time and be on earth and not do the things you enjoy. Do what makes you happy, enjoy your life. As long as you're being responsible while having a good time and handling your day to day business, live and let live. I want to know if I go tomorrow, I went knowing I lived life to my fullest and how I wanted to live...not how others think I should have lived.

The first 2 decks (Dangerous Waters and Danger Blue Lobster), featuring graphics from the Blue Lobster marketing campaign, will be given away with the first 200 pairs of Blue Lobsters on June 20th at Concepts.

The 3rd deck, which ties back to the sneaker itself, will be available for sale in limited numbers. All three will remain exclusive to Concepts. The free decks will be 1 per customer and will alternate with the line.

Celebrating the movie’s 20th Anniversary, Jordan Brand works up two colorways in the Air Jordan 1, featuring a metallic finish, much like the highly sought after original metallic joints on a white backdrop.





Personally I think Jordan Brand should've dropped a pack featuring the Air Jordan IV since those were the Jordans Bugging Out "bugged out" over in the film...whatevs.

FINALS TIME!!!!!

So, the NBA Finals are awaiting and sadly enough King James was unable to make the cut. Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic were able to thwart the Cleveland Cavaliers and take the Eastern Conference title for the first time since 1995.





With that said it's time for Mr. Bryant and the LA Lakers to reclaim another NBA Championship and continue the Laker Legacy of winning titles. Although the Magic was able to demolish the Cavs I doubt they will dispose of LA in the same fashion. My prediction for this series is the Lakers in 5. Lets GO!!!!!
